I will do my best to make referrals and offer resources for the things that are outside of my scope and make sure you're needs are met in one way or another.  Prenatal Visits  The first visit is an initial meet and greet: going over what your desires, concerns, fears are surrounding childbirth. coming up with a solid birth plan that suits you. There will be a contract to be signed before the initial visit to ensure services and determine/pay fees. The second visit is to address any other concerns that have come up and solidify your birth plan, ultimately making sure everything is moving along smoothly for the transition in to labor and birth.  The Basics; Childbirth Education When you retain my services you gain access to my vast amount of resources., from resources on medicines, tests, childbirth procedures and interventions, breastfeeding consultations, health care and more. Whatever you need, I can support you through all circumstances. When you choose this service you will receive discounts on all of our other services, including prenatal courses and free use of my Labor TENS machines! During Labor  I go on call for your birth at 37. In that time you can contact me 24/7 regarding labor and progression. I will meet you either at home or at the hospital when the time is right (whatever we have previously decided on). I will provide you with many techniques and supports to help progress labor, reduce pain and anxiety, and keep you comfortable. I can take photos for you if you wish and I will also take care of your partner and make sure they have the support they need. Being a massage therapist as well, hands on pain relief and relaxation techniques are something I am known for! Baby’s First Feeding Support  Whether your first, second or fifth baby, the challenges of breastfeeding can still be there. I can help you navigate your first breastfeed postpartum and guide you through any challenges you have later on. As well you will have access to our certified breastfeeding specialist Nurse Jessica, at discounted rates! Postpartum follow ups to ensure everyone is doing well post delivery!
